I’m lucky to have naturally long lashes. I could get away with not wearing mascara, but the difference it makes when I put it on is noticeable. I’ve been bouncing back and forth between Sephora brand and Maybelline Lash Stilleto and I’m honestly not thrilled with either. They either dry out my lashes, clump, or run. Why is finding the perfect mascara so hard?
You may remember that earlier this year I asked for your favorite red lipstick. Revlon Matte Lipstick won your vote. I went out and bought it, and I have been thrilled with the results. So I’m turning to you again.
What is your favorite mascara and why? I’m open to any price range, any gimmick, any suggestion really. Just tell me why you love it.

Cool! What a great idea for finding worthy brands. I’m quite happy with Bare Escentual’s mineral mascara. It doesn’t clump and isn’t sticky. Plus, it lasts a lot longer than store-bought bottles. Good luck!
Maybelline Colossal Volume Express Mascara is what I use currently and I don’t have to do repeat applications to get it to build up on my lashes, so it’s a timesaver. But, I do find it dries up and flakes after a long work day.

I love magnascopic by estee lauder. I buy it over and over along with others caused it separates my lashes and never leaves clumps.
For a cheap every day mascara my favorite is Cover Girl Lash Blast. For a “night out” mascara I love Benefit Badgal Mascara
Honestly Maybelline Great Lash is my favorite – I find that it’s better than Dior mascaras that cost 3-4 times as much!
My favorite has always been Maybelline Great Lash in the Pink bottle. It makes my lashes long and thick and stays put!

Maybelline Full ‘N Soft because it’s inexpensive, it does NOT clump (I am so tired of mascaras that clump!), and it gives you a really natural look. The best thing is if you want a more dramatic look, you can just brush on a few more coats! It’s great for day and night. The consistency is good too – not all gross like some other ones 🙂

I love Maybelline Great Lash in the regular version (NOT the waterproof)because it comes off easily with my makeup remover, and it comes in brownish-black, which I use because black is too harsh for my skin color.

I love most mascaras; It’s a beauty item I don’t really feel the need to splurge on like I would for the perfect foundation. I really like Cover Girl Lash Blast. It’s inexpensive, doesn’t run, and comes in a nice wide tube for easy gripping.
My favorite is definitely Almay intense i-color. My eyelashes are medium length, and naturally thick and dark they just extremely lack definition and volume! This lasts all day, doesn’t clump or flake, and gives me natural looking pretty eyelashes with one or 2 swipes, or extremely dramatic with 3 or 4! The ONLY thing with it that doesn’t work for me is that because of the big brush er wand, I can’t use it on my bottom lashes. I always use Define-A-Lash on my lower lashes. I have horrible lashes, short & thin & straight…I havent tried a ton of mascaras, but right now I am using an eyelash curler & Cover Girl Lashblast & I find it gives good coverage, its not expensive & it doesnt flake. My lashes arent super long because of it, but it does make them look thicker without making them clumpy & messy.
My favorite, by far, is diorshow mascara waterproof. It’s kind of pricey but so worth it!
It’s the simple drugstore choice but Revlon Fabulash has always worked wonders for me!

I, too have naturally long lashes, I picked up some Loreal waterproof thickening mascara on a whim and I really like it. It’s super duper waterproof though, it’s even hard to take off with make-up remover!

Cover Girl Lash Blast Lengthening is my favorite mascara.
DiorShow – it is great for people with thin and short eyebrows – it is very thickening.
I love Dior Diorshow mascara because it makes it look like I’m wearing false eyelashes.

i am a premium makeup addict. i have to have my mac foundation and my urban decay eyeshadows. i thought my favorite mascara had to be premium as well. WRONG!
Someone gave me maybelline colossal volume mascara (yellow tube, purple writing) about 9 months ago and i actually forgot about my diorshow (also great, but too expensive). This stuff gives me length and enough volume to make you think i have fake lashes on. it doesnt really clump and you cant beat the price. plus its BRIGHT yellow tube is easy to spot in my makeup bag or purse. 😉

My favorite mascara is Mega-Plump from wet and wild. It gives you a great thick lash, not lumpy and only 2.99. A great deal and a grat product.

I like maybelline’s falsies, it really does make my eyelashes look fuller. I have naturally long lashes as well so I don’t notice a difference with that, but they do look fuller and darker.

I had won Bare Escentuals package from QVC, and I really loved Bare Escentual’s mineral mascara
I used to have one that was given to me in a gift set that was just clear mascara. I forgot the brand of it and wound up losing it…but it was great!
Maybelline Great Lash is my classic go to mascara. I haven’t tried too many high end mascaras though.
My favorite is Covergirl Lashblast Fusion. It works. It gives great volume and length.
I have been a big fan of Great Lash by Maybelline for years and tried many other more expensive mascaras but when I recently discovered Estee Lauder Double Wear w/ the lash primer plus my eyes were immediately opened- literally!
